Climbing courses during the school year

Pays d’Aixcalade also offers cliff climbing courses in the Aix en Provence region and its surroundings.

Departure from the Cournand gymnasium. Return scheduled around 4:30 pm. Plan a picnic!
Cliff outings are organized 1 Sunday per month all year round on about ten different sites around Aix-en-Provence during the year.

We go for example to St Victoire of course but also to the calanques, Buoux in the Lubéron or Chateauvert in the Var.

Ideal to discover the region while having fun!
There is no minimum level required. Everyone will be able to find their way to their slippers!
We also occasionally organize “Grande voie” outings (>100m). Sensations guaranteed!!

So that children can also enjoy it, a dedicated workshop is organised during the All Saints’ Day and Easter holidays.

We provide all the necessary equipment (harness, helmet, belay system, ropes…). We also have some ready shoes but we don’t have all sizes. It is therefore preferable to have your own pair.

Climbing courses during the summer

We also offer climbing courses during the summer. They are organized and supervised by Melanie Son. She will take you to the climbing sites around Aix-en-Provence.

For climbing courses from September to June

Be over 8 years old. FFME license required. Possibility to take a daily discovery license for 6€.

For July and August courses

Groups of 1 to 8 people. Levels from beginner to advanced.

2h activity: 80€/group
1/2 day: 120€/group
day: 200€/group
